Haridwar to Govindghat
We'll pick you up early for a long but beautiful drive through the Panch Prayags. As we climb higher, you'll see the landscape change from lush hills to deep rocky gorges. We'll reach Govindghat, situated on the banks of the Alaknanda river, by evening. Settle in and prepare for the trek starting tomorrow.
Trek to Ghangaria (Base Camp)
The trek begins! A 10 KM trail through dense forests and along the roaring Lakshman Ganga river. Don't worry about your speed—our guides will be with you every step of the way. By late afternoon, we'll reach Ghangaria, a small village that serves as our home for the next three nights.
Exploring the Valley of Flowers
Today we enter the UNESCO World Heritage Valley. Imagine walking through miles of meadows covered in rare Blue Poppies, Brahmakamals, and Lilies. It’s like a fairy tale come to life. We'll spend the day exploring the deeper corners of the valley and return to Ghangaria by evening with a soul full of color.
Ascent to Hemkund Sahib
A steep but spiritually rewarding trek to 15,200 ft. Reach the world's highest Gurudwara, Shri Hemkund Sahib. Sit by the crystal-clear glacial lake and enjoy the hot Khichdi and tea. The silence and devotion here are incredibly powerful. Descend back to Ghangaria for our final night in the high mountains.
